The 400 and 500 blocks of 10th St SE are very sweet spots indeed.  It’s a tranquil tree lined stretch of 10th St SE, only a 2 block stroll to Barracks Row but far removed from the hubbub.  When you go there, take a look at 527 10th St SE, open on Sunday from 1-4.

If you’re anything like me, you have at least a few personal favorite houses on the Hill.  One of mine just came on the market and is open on Sunday from 1-4!

808 G St SE, listed at $1.499k, is just as beautiful and interesting on the inside as it is on the outside.  Built in 1867 and facing the Commandant’s Mansion, it is 4 levels of warm charming unique spaces & flexible living options.  5  bedrooms, 4.5 baths, dream kitchen, garage, family room…  you just have to see it.  I knew the family who owned it several years ago and was lucky enough to be invited over a few times , and it is a great house for entertaining.  Lots of space, including great outdoor spaces!
